One day I was walking the dog along the sea front in Penzance during a storm. The waves were crashing on to the road, showering the passers-by with a mixture of sand, pebbles and water. Down by the Jubilee Pool I decided to take a photo, trying to gauge the time in between the waves crashing over. I took the photo and almost at the same time, the dog and I were soaked. My front was completely dry and my back half completely soaked. We had to walk back through Penzance, sloshing along, to meet Clair. This is the photo and a painting to mark the event.

I have used charcoal from Gwynver beach, acrylic and spray paint to make the artwork
